Watch the marketing, in the language it is published in

Including material you have never been shown.

Partners publish material carrying the principal's name that the principal has not seen, sometimes in another language, frequently on channels the principal does not monitor. Where a client is misled, the responsibility attaches to the name on the material.

The check is straightforward and rarely performed: search for your own organisation's name periodically, including in the languages your partners operate in, and look at what comes back. Social channels and messaging platforms matter as much as websites.

Translated material deserves particular attention, because a translation produced by the partner can carry claims the approved original does not. Having somebody fluent read the translated version is a small check with a high hit rate.

Where non-compliant material is found, the response has to be documented and followed up rather than raised informally. A record of the instruction and the correction is what demonstrates the principal responded, and it is what is examined afterwards.

Repeated findings against the same partner are a pattern rather than a series of incidents, and continuing an arrangement after several is a decision the principal will be asked to justify.
